There was a line out of the door for two hours of who’s who in the Registrar, local, and state community to celebrate local legend Lynda Hairston on her retirement and more than 55 years of service in county government, with the last 21 as Chairman of the Madison County BOR. A respected leader, expert Registrar, and dear friend, she is one of a kind. Thank you Lynda - you will forever be “Chairman of the Board.”
